Research shows that schools dramatically improve when their leaders spend 50% or more of their time on instruction, but there are always so many logistical details that take up our time. We'll share four systems we have created or adapted to our high school that streamline operations, improve leadership distribution, and allow our admin team to focus more on teaching and learning than firefighting. Benefits include: increased measures of school coherence and operational excellence in 5Es, improved feedback from teachers on REACH and non-evaluative observations, and increased instructional support for teachers and departments.
