This session explores how culturally relevant pedagogy (CRP) and small-group instruction (SGI) can work together to create equitable, student-centered classrooms that improve academic outcomes while affirming student identity, voice, and lived experiences. Participants will examine how responsive instructional systems, MTSS structures, and data-driven small-group practices can support rigorous instruction, strengthen student engagement, and build collective efficacy within diverse school communities.

Through practical examples, leadership strategies, and culturally responsive instructional frameworks, participants will learn how to move beyond isolated teaching strategies and develop sustainable systems that promote academic success, cultural competence, sociopolitical awareness, and reciprocal learning opportunities for all students.

Participants will leave with actionable strategies connected to:

Culturally Relevant Pedagogy (CRP)
Small-Group Instruction (SGI)
MTSS and Tiered Supports
Student Voice and Engagement
Data-Driven Instruction
Leadership Look-Fors and Coaching Practices
Equitable and Inclusive Classroom Systems

This session is designed for teachers, instructional coaches, school leaders, and educational stakeholders committed to building rigorous, affirming, and transformative learning environments that center both structure and humanity.
