SY27 Summer Leadership Development: Lead & Learn Forum

This session introduces leaders to the 'Tactical Meeting' structure (based on Patrick Lencioni's Death By Meeting, 2004)—a concrete method to help teams achieve more in less time. A Tactical Meeting is a productive approach for ILT/CIWP Implementation teams to increase their collaboration, shared accountability, equity of voice, and efficiency. The structure is ideal for larger schools, those building internal systems, and those focusing on distributed leadership. Participants will first explore an ideal system of meetings types and then dive into experiencing a realistic Tactical Meeting. This model is already succeeding at multiple levels within CPS, including several CPS schools and some networks; SLI participants will have access to additional support throughout SY27 to implement strong Tactical Meetings.
