Grounded in a district-wide study of AI adoption at Chicago Public Schools, drawing on insights from 25 interviews with leadership and 18 staff focus groups, this 60-minute interactive session translates institutional trends into immediate action for your building. After a quick look at observable CPS data patterns, you will spend the majority of the session working through three structured protocols designed for instant school-level application. You will skip the abstract theory, collaborate with peer leaders, and leave with three completed artifacts you can put to work with your staff the following week.
By the end of this session, you will be able to: - Identify which staff in your building have foundational AI literacy and articulate why a single training approach fails. - Design one specific, time-bound action to advance responsible AI integration using frameworks from the district-wide research. - Connect your school’s AI challenges to broader CPS patterns, reducing isolation and building a shared community of practice.
