When a student is chronically absent, it is rarely just an "attendance issue"—it is a complex puzzle that no single educator can solve alone. Too often, our efforts to get students back into the classroom feel fragmented, leaving teachers overwhelmed and families disconnected. But what happens when we stop working in silos and start working as a unified team?
Together, we will map out practical, team-driven strategies across all three tiers of support:

Tier 1: Strengthening school-wide cultures of belonging and proactive family engagement.

Tier 2: Deploying targeted, group-based interventions like mentoring and attendance circles.

Tier 3: Coordinating intensive, individualized community and wrap-around supports for our most vulnerable students.
