The Office of Early Childhood Education and the Department of Student Assessment and MTSS invite school leaders to a strategic session on integrating Pre-K into the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework. Participants will review the district’s journey of Pre-K MTSS implementation and become familiar with Teaching Strategies Gold (TSG) data to support teachers in identifying specific student needs. By leveraging the MTSS Pre-K Guidance Document, leaders will bridge the gap between Pre-K practices and existing K-8 structures, ensuring a cohesive continuum of support. Additionally, the session will highlight how one school is navigating Pre-K MTSS implementation hurdles through practical, real-world problem-solving.
