How can school leaders create the conditions for meaningful, student-driven civic learning in their buildings? Participants will explore how CPS' Inquiry to Action and Mikva Challenge's Issues to Action frameworks support district priorities around writing, discussion, inquiry-based learning, and culturally responsive instruction while empowering students to move from research and critical thinking to informed civic action. School leaders will leave with concrete examples of classroom implementation, partnership opportunities, and strategies for supporting teachers in bringing inquiry-centered civic learning to life within their schools.
