Who owns the thinking in your classrooms? This session explores how school leaders use the MOI Framework to create the conditions for teachers to release cognitive demand to students through meaningful discourse and student ownership. Participants will examine the leadership shifts, coaching structures, collaborative teacher practices, and systems that helped move student discourse from isolated practice to a schoolwide expectation. Presenters will share successes, challenges, and lessons learned from supporting teachers through the discomfort, growth, and messiness of this work across classrooms and grade levels.
