This session will present the critical role Media and AI literacy curriculum plays in setting the stage for conversations about AI. Whether you see it as a boon or a threat, we can't make meaning of emerging tech if we don't understand the landscape. "Leading with Literacy" posits media literacy as a foundation for all work—whether pro-AI or AI-critical—and provides examples from CPS schools of how to use the media and AI literacy curriculum from our partners at Common Sense Media.
